Page 206 Homo Heidelbergensis

This species interests me because there is some evidence that they may have been the first species to bury their dead.  And some people think that this species may have communicated with a primitive language.  This is Homo heidelbergensis, which lived in elevations below 1000m in England, France, Spain, Germany, Greece, Hungary, and Italy between 400 and 500 thousand years ago.
